1962 Burr Tillstrom’s Kukla and Ollie Board Game - ID: jungames21360

A vintage board game called “Kukla and Ollie: a Game” by Parker Brothers, Inc. Based on the Burr Tillstrom created program and characters, the game was released in 1962. Tillstrom's and his puppetry talent is sited as an influence of many later puppeteers including Shari Lewis and Jim Henson. The game comes with a gameboard, a set of cards, and several numbered pieces with plastic bases; a paper set of instructions is inside the box. Measures 19”x9.75” and 1.25” thick, and is in good condition with discoloration and wear from age, including several tears in the lower half of the box and a tear in the lid, several scuffs along the edges, and some dirt/staining on the paper instructions.
